Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

Our providers and staff try diligently to meet the needs of our patients when scheduling appointments, which is often challenging for a busy medical office. We have established the following cancellation policy in order to make cancelled appointments available to other patients in as timely a manner as possible:

  • We ask that patients needing to cancel or reschedule a visit notify us at least 24 hours prior to their appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled fewer than 24 hours prior may be subject to a $50 fee to be paid in addition to the next appointment’s co-pay prior to being seen at that next visit.
  • No-Show Policy: A $50 fee may also be applied if a patient does not attend their scheduled appointment and does not communicate to our office that they are unable to attend. The $50 fee must be paid along with the next appointment’s co-pay prior to the patient being seen at the next visit. If a patient has 2 of these “No Show” appointments, then, at the provider’s discretion, we may decline to reschedule and request that the patient receive their care elsewhere in the future.

Due to our office being a specialty practice, it is critical that we evaluate all patients in a timely manner, and offering rescheduled visit times to other patients helps us achieve that goal.  Thank you for your understanding.

Please note, if you have a medical emergency, you should go to the nearest emergency room or contact your primary care physician for assistance. Your primary care physician will call us as needed to coordinate your care.
